What does CLEPA stand for?
Comité de liaison de la construction d’équipements et de pièces automobiles.
CLEPA, the European Association of Automotive Suppliers, promotes the interests of the Automotive Supply industry. CLEPA undertakes activities, which stimulate the successful business growth and development of its members, assuring equal representation standing and influence to that of the world's major Vehicle Manufacturers.

Who does CLEPA represent?
CLEPA represents 29 National trade and European sector associations from across Europe - and beyond - and some 77 corporate members, including the world's most prominent parts, systems and module suppliers.
In all, the Association represents some 3,000 suppliers providing employment for more than 3 million people, covering all products and services within the automotive supply chain.

What is CLEPA's structure?
CLEPA is structured in Working Groups. Each Working Group is further structured in Sub-commissions.
What is the difference between CLEPA's Working Groups and Sub-commissions?
Working Groups are Policy Groups. They develop opinions and positions and define objectives and duration of Sub-Commissions to be installed. Sub-commissions deal with ad-hoc topics for a specified period of time.
Which are CLEPA's Working Groups?
CLEPA's Working Groups are the following: International Relations, Aftermarket Policy, Technical Regulations, Research & Development, Quality, SME, Human Resources & Development, Legal Advisory Group, Warranty.
How do Working Groups and sub-commissions operate?

Who has access to the website's restricted area?
Only CLEPA Corporate members and Member Associations have access, via User Name and Passwords that are distributed to them by CLEPA.
How do I enter the restricted area?

What type of info/material can I find in the restricted area?
In the restricted area CLEPA members can find a page with their Personal Information, which they will be able to constantly update. Moreover, CLEPA will display in this area all General Communications, which are related to important internal dates and meetings, General Assemblies, Board of Directors, trilateral Meetings and so on.
Another useful tool Members will be able to find here is the News from the European Institutions and the latest Newsletters.
In the pages related to each Working Group or Sub-commission, Members will find Agendas and Minutes, useful details and Working Documents (such as presentations and/or official working documents), according to meeting dates (past or upcoming).

What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for sharing and distributing web content, such as news headlines.
News feeds allow you to see when websites have added new content without having to visit the websites you have taken the feed from.
How do I access RSS?
RSS/News Aggregators (also called Readers) are pieces of software that check the feeds and lets you read any new articles that have been added. There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser, and some of which are downloadable applications.
