CLEPA main decision-making bodies are: the General Assembly, the Board of Directors and the Steering Committee.
The General Assembly consists of all active members, whatever their membership category, and of the President, the Vice-Presidents and the Treasurer. It exercises all powers necessary to carry out the purposes of the Association.
The Board of Directors is vested with the power of management and administration granted by the General Assembly, while the Steering Committee is a restricted executive body, whose main tasks are to make any necessary decision whenever important or urgent issues arise, and to propose guidelines for political action. All its decisions are reviewed by the Board of Directors.
Both the Board of Directors and
the Steering Committee take into account the balance of the various and wide interests represented by CLEPA membership.
CLEPA is then structured in Working Groups, which are further structured in Sub-commissions. Working Groups are Policy Groups, which develop strategic positions for our industry and policy.
Senior industry executives chair each Policy Group, advise in their area of expertise and are prepared to represent the group on important missions.
Strategic items and recommended positions developed by the Working Groups are submitted to the Board of Directors/Steering Committee for approval.
Finally, Working Groups develop opinions and positions and define objectives and duration of Subcommissions to be installed.
