How to become CLEPA Members
Today's CLEPA membership consists of national and sectorial supplier associations and some 82 corporate members, of the world's most prominent parts, systems and module suppliers. Through the Association CLEPA in all represents some 3,000 suppliers providing employment for more than 3 million people.
Any supplier of automobile technology or services with more than one production site in Europe and holding a membership at one of our National Trade Association members, qualifies for a CLEPA Corporate Members.
Eligibility criteria are the following:
National Associations
First eligible group is the one composed of national associations of automotive parts, systems, modules, engineering and design companies from the Members States of the European Union. Where national associations bring together other branches of the automotive industry, then their sections or groups representing the suppliers shall be acceptable as members.
Corporate Members
Individual companies or corporations are eligible if they belong to the automotive trade branch in the sense of the European classification of activities (NACE 353) or to subbranches of the automotive supply industry or for whom automobile parts, systems, modules, engineering or design makes up a significant part of their total turnover, hereinafter denominated.

Membership of individual companies will be acceptable as Corporate members provided that they:
- Run actual production, engineering or design facilities for automotive parts, systems or modules in at least two European countries;
- and are duly paid up members of at least one National Trade Representative member of CLEPA.
Affiliate Members
Affiliated Membership is open to those European trade associations, which are duly recognised by the agencies of the European Union and are partly involved in the sub-branches of the automotive supply industry.
Associate Members
Associated Membership is open to the national associations and companies located in countries being part of the European Union’s current and future enlargement process or located outside the European Union.

After approval of your application by the CLEPA Board of Directors or Steering Committee, a confirmation letter will be mailed to your address and your company will start to benefit of our activities.
